Hatch offers free global workshop for women in aquaculture

Global aquaculture venture capital firm Hatch Accelerator Holding Ltd., is rolling out a free mentorship and support workshop aimed at female entrepreneurs in the aquaculture industry.

The virtual program will run from August 17th to September 11, this year.

Participants can expect to receive coaching, mentorship, business model  and value proposition development, building your minimum viable product, product testing, generating initial traction, legal advice, customer discovery, marketing, fundraising, and access to Hatch’s intelligence portal and virtual office platform.

“The Hatch Women Innovation Studio is targeted towards female founders and entrepreneurs who are looking into aquaculture or alternative seafood as a market to scale your business or validate your technology,” according to Hatch’s website. “You will be introduced to a global industry network with female mentors to support you to successfully grow your business.”

The program is aimed at:

  • Companies with female founders or management teams
  • Project teams looking for support and mentorship
  • Startups that want to take things to the next level
  • Later-stage companies seeking to increase market & industry access
  • Companies in adjacent industries entering aquaculture
  • Talented entrepreneurs seeking opportunities in the industry

Hatch said the program is an “equity-free workshop for you to develop your project’s commercial scalability, technological readiness, and industry fit.”

There is no cost to join but attendance is limited to 15 teams or companies with two people per team.
