Bioled announces 8th International Photoperiod Workshop

Bioled, which due to its trajectory has become an international benchmark in the area of artificial lighting in the aquaculture industry, has announced the eighth version of its traditional International Photoperiod Workshop.

The seminar will be held on Aug. 31, in a hybrid mode, via streaming and on-site at the Hotel Cabaña del Lago, in the city of Puerto Varas, Chile.

These traditional events, which bring together producers, researchers and professionals, provide the opportunity to keep up with and discuss topics related to the application of artificial photoperiod, its advances and effects on the national and international salmon industry.

This year, we are proud of counting on the participation of the internationally acclaimed experts Yonathan Zohar and Christopher Good.

Yonathan Zohar, Ph.D. in Fish Biology and Aquaculture, from the University of Paris, France. Director of the Aquaculture Research Center, Institute of Marine & Environmental Technology, University of Maryland, USA.

Christopher Good, Ph.D. in Aquatic Epidemiology, from the Ontario Veterinary College, Canada. Director of Research at the Freshwater Institute, The Conservation Fund, USA.
