SPG 2025 is a meeting place for the international fish/seafood processing and aquaculture industry. It’s happening at FIRA Gran Via – Barcelona, Spain, on May 6-8, 2025.
This year, the 38 Danish exhibitors will showcase their technology, equipment, feed, packaging and services that can reduce costs, save energy and bring fish farming, catching and processing to the next level.
“The Danish attendance at SPG shows that the exhibition is an essential place for Danish companies to showcase their products and strengthen relations with the most important stakeholders in the industry,” said Martin Winkel Lilleoere, head of Fish Tech at Danish Export Association.
One of the 38 exhibitors is CM Aqua, which uses RAS technology for full-size salmon. Its HEX drum filters remove up to 90 per cent of all particles in the water and feature a hassle-free filter panel exchange system. Adding CM Aqua’s Ratz Protein Skimmer, using ozone to minimize bacteria growth, the water gets purified to get the salmon taste we love.
“We’ve been testing this setup in China together with other stakeholders in the industry. The results we’ve achieved are amazing and mean that fish farmers globally can avoid the geosmin problem and produce fish of a much higher quality,” said Mikael Denhardt, CEO of CM Aqua.
OxyGuard is also one of the exhibitors. In Barcelona, OxyGuard will showcase some of its products for monitoring water quality, including the Polaris C Line.
“The focus for OxyGuard has always been on delivering practical, high-quality solutions to the aquaculture industry. With Polaris C, we’re offering tools that simplify daily tasks while ensuring reliable, accurate measurements—vital for effective water quality management,” said Paw Petersen, CEO of OxyGuard.
