The Latin American and Caribbean Aquaculture 2022 – LACQUA22 “Sustainable aquaculture for two oceans” will take place in Panama City, Panama has moved its dates to April 18-21, 2023. Your hotel will be the Riu Hotel Plaza.

Panama is a cosmopolitan and dynamic city, where the modern and the traditional come together to create a happy and relaxed atmosphere. It is the centre of the Americas, a unique and easy connection hub for the entire American continent. As for the aquaculture sector of Panama (fish and shrimp together) it is one of the main export items of the country. The most cultivated species in Panama are fish (tilapia, cobia, pámpano) and shrimp.

We are sure as an organization that LACQUA22 will be a resounding success for the continent and a great opportunity for the exchange and transfer of information in the region.
